ServisX — School bus and fleet tracking platform

ServisX manages school bus and staff shuttle operations end to end. The driver starts the trip and marks when a student boards and alights; parents see the vehicle's location and that their child has boarded through instant notifications.

On the management side, routes, vehicles, drivers and attendance are tracked from one panel. Because the system holds children's data, permissions and location sharing are restricted from the start.

Children's data and security

In ServisX, security is not a subsection; it is how the product is designed.

Which student dataSchool number, name, class, parent name and phone, pickup address and location. No student photos or health information are stored.

Data controllerThe organization running the service (school or transport company) is the controller of student and parent data. Bella Binary processes it on the organization's behalf and instructions.

AuthorizationRoles: administrator, operations, driver, parent. Parents see only their own child and drivers only their own trip; parent contact details on the attendance screen are visible only to operations and administrators.

Location sharingThe driver's location is sent only while a trip is open: it starts when the trip starts and stops when it ends. Location cannot be written to a finished trip or another driver's trip; a notification is shown on the phone while tracking.

Parent accessParents see the vehicle only while their child's route has an open trip and cannot access past routes. Access is granted after the server checks the parent–student link and that day's route assignment.

Data retentionRetention for location points and attendance records is agreed with the organization. The organization can export student, attendance and route reports to Excel or PDF.

What does the parent see in the app?

While a trip is open on their child's route, the vehicle's live location; instant notifications when the bus is approaching, when the child boards, arrives at school and is dropped off. Parents have no access to past routes.

How are boarding and drop-off recorded?

The driver marks a student as boarded or dropped off with one tap in the app; the record is kept with its time and the parent is notified. No paper roll call is needed.

Can it be used for staff transport too?

Yes. Besides school buses, routes, vehicles, drivers and attendance for staff transport are tracked from the same panel.
