Frequently asked

Our machines are old — can we get data from them?

Most machines with a PLC can be read via OPC UA or Modbus. On machines without a PLC, a running/stopped signal can be taken from a current sensor or counter; which is possible becomes clear during the line survey.

Won't operators see this as extra work?

The start and end of a stop are captured automatically; operators are only asked to pick the reason. The reason screen opens with a single tap on the line panel or a tablet.

Do maintenance and production data live in the same place?

Bella SCADA and Bainten work together: a fault signal caught by SCADA opens a work order in Bainten, and the maintenance record feeds back into the downtime report.

Will it work with our ERP?

We have integration experience with Netsis and Odoo; production quantities, scrap and downtime can be posted to work orders. For other ERPs the method is decided during discovery.
